Lindsay Jones, Miss Charleston, crowned Miss South Carolina 2026
COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) — According to the Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization, Lindsay Jones, Miss Charleston, has been crowned as the new Miss South Carolina.
Jones beat out 38 other delegates for the title. She also takes home a $60,000 scholarship and will go on to compete for the title of Miss America later this year.
Miss South Carolina 2025, Sarah Kay Wrenn, handed over the crown to Jones at Saturday night’s pageant.
Founded in 1936, the Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization is one of the state’s largest providers of scholarships for young women, awarding more than $280,000 in 2026.
The Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization operates within the guidelines of the Miss America Opportunity while stressing individuality, personal development, communication skills and physical and mental health.
