Goat shoppers could get redress payments over 2024 settlement

(CNN)– Certain people who shopped on goat.com could have redress payments coming their way.

The Federal Trade Commission says they’re from its settlement with the company over a 2024 complaint.

The FTC alleges the online shoe and apparel retailer failed to honor refund policies and violated an FTC shipping rule.

It says Goat sent more than $700,000 in refunds last year.

Now, the FTC says the federal agency itself is sending out additional payments.

It says more than 6,000 customers should receive them by check or Paypal.
