King Day at Dome at State House brings Candidates, Civil Rights Groups

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Many South Carolinians are taking time out Monday to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.20160118_094256

The annual King Day at the Dome features speeches from NAACP leaders, songs, and a visit from the Democratic Presidential hopefuls.

Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, and Martin O’Malley all participating in “King Day at the Dome.”

Martin Luther King Jr would have been 87 years old this year, the annual event honors his legacy.
