Ellington Holds Pro Day

CLEMSON, S.C. (WOLO) — Clemson running back Andre Ellington held his Pro Day on Friday in front of a reported 20 NFL teams inside Clemson’s indoor practice facility. Ellington missed out on Clemson’s pro day earlier this month after tweaking his hamstring in the NFL Combine. Ellington participated in a variety of drills, significantly improving his time on his 40-yard dash. He finished with a 4.61 in the NFL Combine last month. On Friday the Clemson senior posted an unofficial time of 4.51. Ellington took to Twitter to express his thoughts on his Pro Day performance: “Words can’t explain this feeling!! Thanks to everyone who was there to support and help me with this process. Big ups to @TonyVillani #XPE.” (@Dre23_LilBit) Experts project Ellington to be a second or third round pick in the NFL Draft.
