COLUMBIA SC (WOLO) – Stiff Person Syndrome(SPS) is a rare autoimmune neurological disorder that causes muscle
stiffness in your trunk and abdomen which can set off muscle spasms when you’re in distress.
Celine Dion Suffered from this diagnosis, had lost her voice, mobility per media news who
sang at the 2024 Olympic opening ceremony .SPS causes greater sensitivity to noise and
touch which puts them in emotional distress.
People with SPS can develop hunched over
paustures, start losing mobility in joints, pain, sensitivity to noise, decreased balance
,mobility,decreased coordination,strength ,rigidity in muscles which affects fine motor
