Gas prices rise in the Midlands amid Holiday season


Gas Prices Hit 4 Month High

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)–Gas prices are on the rise in the Midlands this holiday season.

According to GasBuddy, drivers in Columbia are paying 1.4 cents per gallon more than last week. The average is $2.69 per gallon in Columbia.

Still, prices at the pump are 13cents per gallon lower than a month ago, according to GasBuddy.

The national average has fallen 3 cents per gallon since last week. It now stands at $2.97 a gallon.
