4 arrested following domestic dispute in Sumter

SUMTER, SC (WOLO) — According to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, four adults were arrested Saturday following a domestic dispute that escalated into gunfire on Edgehill Road.
Deputies say they responded to a report of a domestic dispute at a residence on Saturday morning. About an hour later, deputies were dispatched again after receiving information that the dispute was continuing, learning en route that the incident had become physical and that shots had been fired.
Upon arrival, deputies say individuals involved had allegedly vandalized and fired shots into each other’s unoccupied vehicles.
No injuries were reported, and no other vehicles or structures were struck by gunfire.
Twenty-three-year old Jaheim Abrams, 43-year-old Willie Abrams, Jr., 18-year-old Adre’Anna Singleton, and 25-year-old Alasyia Singleton were taken into custody, transported to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center, and later released on bond.
Each Suspect Received the Same Charges:
• Malicious Injury to Personal Property – More than $2,000 but less than $10,000
• Possession of a Firearm by a Person Convicted of Certain Crimes
