Second former DJJ employee arrested in relation to providing contraband to youth
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– A second former SCDJJ employee has been charged with misconduct in office, say DJJ officials.
Anthony Joseph Livingson, 44, of Blythewood, has been charged with adult furnishing contraband to a juvenile in the custody of the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) and misconduct in office.
While working at the Midlands Evaluation and Development Center, Livingston provided THC gummies to youth, DJJ says.
He turned himself in to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center Monday, May 18.
He was dismissed from his position at the conclusion of the investigation conducted by SCDJJ which resulted in an arrest warrant.
