Kerry, who also earned All-America honors by the NCBWA, was 5-1 with a 2.15 ERA with 84 strikeouts in 54.1 innings pitched for the Gamecocks this season.
Wes Clarke was named to PG’s All-America third team while Will Sanders (first team) and Jack Mahoney(second team) were named Freshman All-Americans by the website.
Wilson will be the second Gamecock to represent the U.S. in women’s basketball in an Olympic Games and the fourth to compete in the Olympics in program history.
Clarke hit .271 with 23 home runs, 56 runs scored, nine doubles, 55 RBI and 50 walks this season. He was named to the All-SEC second team and was a semifinalist for the Dick Howser Trophy.
Martin was the head coach at Marist for five seasons (2008-13), and has been an assistant coach at Indiana (2014-17) and Memphis (2006-08), in addition to stops at Manhattan, UMass, Drexel and St. John’s.
Clarke was a second team designated hitter while Kerry earned third team honors at relief pitcher.
