Heathwood Hall star Ronnie Porter commits to South Carolina
The two-way senior will be a preferred walk-on for the Gamecocks. He rushed for over 1,600 yards and 15 touchdowns last season for the Highlanders.

Cam Gaskins joined the ABC Columbia Sports team in August of 2019 as an Anchor/Reporter.
He graduated from the University of Georgia in 2017 with a degree in Digital Broadcast Journalism and a certificate in Sports Media.
He previously worked for WGXA in Macon, GA where he covered everything from the Mercer Bears to the Macon Bacon. He also covered the Georgia Bulldogs in the 2018 SEC Championship Game.
Cam was born and raised in Georgia, and grew up cheering for the Braves and Falcons. Now he’s excited to call the Palmetto State home and cover all the great sports here in the Midlands.
In his free time, Cam loves watching a good movie, hiking, finding a new restaurant, and trying to break 100 on the golf course.

In the same fashion they started 2020, the South Carolina women's basketball team finished the year in victorious fashion.
The Gamecocks have a severe need at wide receiver, an already-thin position group from 2020. Top receiver Shi Smith announced earlier this month that he would be forgoing his senior season and entering the NFL Draft.
The Tigers currently rank third in the nation with 44.9 points scored per game, 10th in the nation with 507 total yards of offense per game, and seventh in the nation with 343.8 passing yards per game.
He made six pass attempts in 2020 after starting 11 games in 2019.
