Erik Kimrey expected to leave Hammond to join Shane Beamer’s staff at South Carolina
He's won 12 state championships in his 17-year tenure leading the Hammond Skyhawks.

Cam Gaskins joined the ABC Columbia Sports team in August of 2019 as an Anchor/Reporter.
He graduated from the University of Georgia in 2017 with a degree in Digital Broadcast Journalism and a certificate in Sports Media.
He previously worked for WGXA in Macon, GA where he covered everything from the Mercer Bears to the Macon Bacon. He also covered the Georgia Bulldogs in the 2018 SEC Championship Game.
Cam was born and raised in Georgia, and grew up cheering for the Braves and Falcons. Now he’s excited to call the Palmetto State home and cover all the great sports here in the Midlands.
In his free time, Cam loves watching a good movie, hiking, finding a new restaurant, and trying to break 100 on the golf course.

South Carolina's initial COVID struggles began Dec. 8 when the team announced it was pausing all activities and canceling its home opener against Wofford.
This season, he played in all 10 of the Gamecocks contests, recording 74 tackles with an interception and four pass breakups.
The Gamecocks will be facing a UAB Blazers team that finished 6-3 and beat Marshall to win the Conference USA championship, their second in the last three seasons.
