Cam Gaskins joined the ABC Columbia Sports team in August of 2019 as an Anchor/Reporter.
He graduated from the University of Georgia in 2017 with a degree in Digital Broadcast Journalism and a certificate in Sports Media.
He previously worked for WGXA in Macon, GA where he covered everything from the Mercer Bears to the Macon Bacon. He also covered the Georgia Bulldogs in the 2018 SEC Championship Game.
Cam was born and raised in Georgia, and grew up cheering for the Braves and Falcons. Now he’s excited to call the Palmetto State home and cover all the great sports here in the Midlands.
In his free time, Cam loves watching a good movie, hiking, finding a new restaurant, and trying to break 100 on the golf course.

The Gamecocks will scrimmage Columbia International on Wednesday before officially starting their season on Nov. 6 against North Alabama.
The four-star defensive tackle made his commitment to USC over the summer. The All-American Bowl will take place on Jan. 4 in San Antonio.
The Gamecocks now have to win three of their final four games to become bowl eligible at the end of the season.
