University of South Carolina Athletics announced today the recipients of eight endowed scholarships across four sports. Seven members of the group have appeared on the SEC Academic Honor Roll, two have earned All-SEC honors and two were All-America selections. Former Tiger righthander David Kopp was added to the Clemson staff as a student assistant coach, announced by head coach Monte Lee. Kopp was a three-year letterman (2005-07) at Clemson and played eight seasons in the minors.

The Southeastern Conference released its men’s basketball league schedule for the 2016 campaign on Wednesday evening on SEC Now on the SEC Network. The schedule, which features an 18-game lineup, will see each of Carolina’s games broadcast with the possibility of six contests on the ESPN family of networks and 13 on the SEC Network. All of the games will be available to be seen from anywhere in the nation.
