GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) _ A Pelzer man has been arrested after authorities say he pushed and slapped a firefighter trying to help him after a car wreck. Greenville County deputies say 28-year-old Kenneth Henderson was arrested Tuesday night and charged with third-degree assault and battery.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) _ Several Occupy Columbia protesters arrested last week for refusing to leave the Statehouse grounds sued South Carolina Gov. LEXINGTON, S.C. (AP) _ Lexington County deputies have arrested a man they say broke into a home and took items while a 17-year-old girl hid inside. Deputies said Tuesday 56-year-old Richard O'Neil Hatchell of Leesville faces several charges, including first-degree burglary and failure to stop for a blue light.
