Summer Camp Helps Youth Battle Obesity

The world’s most elite athletes will be competing at the 2012 Olympic Games this week. But you don’t have to be a top athlete to reap the rewards of fitness and health. A summer camp offered through the GoodBodies Program at USC’s Arnold School of Public Health is helping young people, ages 9 – 17, learn how to make healthy behavior changes, incorporating fitness fun and better nutrition in their lives.

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) _ The mother of the 3-year-old boy who drowned after falling into a swimming pool in Greenville County has been charged with homicide by neglect. Thirty-six-year-old Marian Brownfield Stringer of Greenville was charged Wednesday in the death of 3-year-old Chance Stringer.
