Sheriff: Deputy Stole Ceramic Tiles While on Duty

LANCASTER, S.C. (AP) _ Lancaster County Sheriff Barry Faile says he fired one of his deputies for stealing ceramic tiles from a home under construction. Investigators said a man called authorities Thursday after seeing a sheriff's patrol car quickly leave the house he was building for his mother-in-law and noticing several boxes of tiles worth $500 were gone.
