Saints Pick Anthony #31 Overall

Stephone Anthony, the top tackler on Clemson’s number-one ranked defense, was selected in the first round of the 2015 NFL draft by the New Orleans Saints on Thursday night. Anthony was the 31st selection of the draft and gave Clemson two first-round draft choices.

Falcons Make Beasley #8 Pick

Clemson defensive end Vic Beasley was selected by the Atlanta Falcons with the eighth selection of the first round of the NFL draft held in Chicago on Thursday night. Beasley was the ACC Defensive Player of the Year and a consensus All-American in 2014 when he helped Clemson lead the nation in total defense for just the second time in school history.

Ace Helps Martin Edge Kuchar In WGC Match Play

Call it beginner's luck if you want. Former Clemson standout and Greenwood native Ben Martin is calling it the best shot of his life. Wednesday at the WGC-Cadillac Match Play, his first WGC event, Martin aced the 243-yard par three 17th hole. That helped the #67 player in the world upset 14th-ranked Matt Kuchar.
