USC WBB Releases Non-Conference Slate

South Carolina women’s basketball head coach Dawn Staley announced today her team’s non-conference schedule for 2015-16, which features seven teams that recorded 20 or more wins last season and 10 that played in the 2015 postseason, including the NCAA and WNIT champions.

Clemson to Hold Fan Day August 23

Clemson will hold its annual Football Fan Day presented by Greenville Heath System and Coca-Cola on Sunday, August 23 in Memorial Stadium.

Clemson Kicks Off Two-A-Days

The Tiger football team held a physical first of two practices Monday morning. It was the first of Clemson’s four two-a-days scheduled in August camp, with two more this week and the final two-a-day set for August 17. Clemson worked for just over two hours in the morning, and will return in the evening for a walk-through practice.

Four Tigers Finish In SC Amateur Top 20

Austin Langdale and Stephen Behr finished in the top 10 and Carson Young and Josh Fickes finished in the top 20 of the 84th South Carolina Amateur Golf tournament. The 72-hole event was completed on Sunday afternoon in near 90-degree heat at the Chanticleer Course at Greenville Country Club.

Tigers Practice Without Swinney

Clemson held its fifth practice of the preseason, its first in pads, and the first without Head Coach Dabo Swinney, who returned to Alabama to be with his family after the passing of his father, Ervil Swinney on Saturday afternoon.

The University of South Carolina football team practiced in full pads for the first time during the fall preseason camp on Saturday morning at the new practice fields. The squad used the final hour of the nearly two-and-a-half-hour long open practice to go 11-on-11 in a scrimmage format.
