Class of 2014 signee Gabe DeVoe (Shelby, N.C.) was named to the 58th annual Parade All-America boys basketball team announced over the weekend. DeVoe is the fifth Clemson signee in history to earn the distinction, joining Skip Wise (’74), Clarke Bynum (’80), Sharone Wright (’91) and Milton Jennings (’09).

Georgia Southern scored in six of the first seven innings to defeat No. 13 Clemson 14-5 at J.I. Clements Stadium Tuesday night. It was the first meeting between Georgia Southern (17-4) and Clemson (12-7) in Statesboro since 1995.

The Tigers travel to Statesboro, Ga. for the first time since 1995 to take on high-powered Georgia Southern in a two-game, midweek series. Game one is on Tuesday at 6 p.m., game two is on Wednesday at 4 p.m.

A two-year absence from postseason play ended Sunday when Clemson accepted a bid to compete in the 2014 National Invitation Tournament (NIT). The third-seeded Tigers host No. 6 seed Georgia State on Tuesday in a 9 p.m. game televised by ESPNU. Clemson is returning to the NIT for the first time since the 2006-07 team advanced to the championship game in Madison Square Garden.

The No. 14 Clemson Tigers totaled 14 hits en route to a 7-4 victory over Wake Forest at Wake Forest Baseball Park in the second game of a doubleheader Saturday. The Tigers (12-6, 5-1 ACC) swept the doubleheader and won the series 2-1 over the Demon Deacons (13-8, 3-3 ACC).

Clemson jumped out to a 9-1 lead in the fifth inning and held on for a 16-6 victory over Wake Forest at Wake Forest Baseball Park in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday. The Tigers (11-6, 4-1 ACC) evened the series 1-1 against the Demon Deacons (13-7, 3-2 ACC).

Trailing by as much as 13 in the second half, Clemson rallied to take a lead into the final seconds of the game until Duke’s Rodney Hood made a pair of free throws with 3.8 left to give the Blue Devils a 63-62 victory in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals Friday at the Greensboro Coliseum.

Behind two runs in the eighth inning, Wake Forest rallied to top No. 14 Clemson 4-3 at Wake Forest Baseball Park Friday night. The Demon Deacons (13-6, 3-1 ACC) took a 1-0 series lead over the Tigers (10-6, 3-1 ACC).

Due to the threat of inclement weather Sunday, the Clemson vs. Wake Forest series will conclude with a doubleheader Saturday starting at 1 p.m. Saturday's game was originally scheduled for 4 p.m. There will be approximately 40 minutes in between the nine-inning games Saturday.

Clemson overcame a nine-point deficit in the second half and survived a second straight overtime game, prevailing 69-65 over Georgia Tech in the second round of the ACC Tournament. Daniel Miller forced overtime for the Yellow Jackets with 0.9 seconds left and Clemson trailed by as much as three in overtime, but found a way to win its 20th game of the 2013-14 season.

Riding a four-game winning streak, No. 14 Clemson takes its 3-0 ACC record to Wake Forest for a three-game series starting Friday night.

The men's basketball team earned a first-round bye and the No. 6 seed for this week's ACC Tournament and plays the winner of the 11 vs. 14 matchup between Boston College and Georgia Tech on Thursday at 9 p.m.

The #15 Clemson Tigers scored all 12 runs in the first four innings to defeat Virginia Tech 12-2 at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Clemson had its first of 15 spring practices on Wednesday on the practices fields behind the Tigers Indoor Facility. There were some old faces and new ones at practice as Dabo Swinney prepares for his sixth full season as Clemson Head Coach.

Clemson broke a halftime tie and committed just nine turnovers for the second straight game on its way to a 58-54 victory over Miami on Tuesday at Littlejohn Coliseum. The win, Clemson’s second in the last 48 hours, was the program’s 10th ACC win of the season – only the fourth time the Tigers have won 10 ACC games in a season. The Tigers moved to 19-10 overall and 10-7 in league play. Miami fell to 15-15, 6-11 in the ACC.

Western Carolina scored six runs in the second inning and seven runs in the fourth inning to cruise to an 18-10 win over #15 Clemson at Hennon Stadium on Tuesday afternoon. The Catamounts (8-2), who totaled 16 hits in the game, extended the nation’s longest home winning streak to 18.

Head football coach Dabo Swinney announced Tuesday the suspension of four players for the first game of the 2014 season at Georgia on August 30. David Beasley, Shaq Anthony, Garry Peters and Corey Crawford will miss the season opener due to a violation of team rules.

In a game that featured 13 lead changes and two overtimes, Clemson prevailed 77-73 over Maryland in the final scheduled meeting between the two as ACC foes Sunday in Littlejohn Coliseum. Clemson’s win was its ninth in the ACC this season and pushed the Tigers to 18-10 overall. Maryland fell to 15-14 and 7-9 in conference play.

Clemson led 44-42 in the second half but Wake Forest produced a 13-2 run to take control in a 62-57 win over the Tigers on Tuesday at Lawrence Joel Coliseum.

Sophomore righthander Clate Schmidt tossed 4.2 scoreless innings in relief of one-hit ball to pace #11 Clemson (6-1) to a 4-2 victory over Presbyterian College (4-3-1) at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.

Clemson (17-9, 8-6 ACC) wraps up its road ACC schedule Tuesday night at Wake Forest (14-13, 4-10 ACC). Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. A win in Winston-Salem would tie a school record with their fifth ACC road win.

#11 Clemson (5-1) hosts Presbyterian (4-2-1) Tuesday afternoon at 4 p.m. at Doug Kingsmore Stadium. It's the final game for the Tigers before this weekend's big series with #3 USC.
