Six seniors off the 2012 Clemson football team have signed free agent contracts with NFL teams. The list includes three offensive players, two defensive players and a specials teams player.

The Clemson vs. Furman baseball game scheduled for Tuesday night was rained out. The game was originally scheduled for April 17, but that game was rained out as well. The two teams will play the regularly-scheduled game against Furman at Fluor Field in Greenville, SC on Wednesday at 7:00 PM. Tuesday's game will be made up as part of a doubleheader at Fluor Field on Wednesday. Therefore, the makeup game will start at 2:30 PM at Fluor Field.

Matthew Crownover tossed 6.0 scoreless innings and five different Tigers tallied multiple hits to lead #15 Clemson to a 9-5 win over Maryland in the second game of a doubleheader at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Monday night. The Tigers, who won both games of the doubleheader to win the series 2-1, improved to 32-15 overall and 17-10 in the ACC. The Terrapins fell to 28-23 overall and 9-18 in ACC play.

Clemson was one of 14 teams selected to play in the NCAA Men’s Golf Regional Tournament at the Karsten Golf Course in Tempe, AZ on Monday night. Larry Penley’s Tigers are the number-five seed in the field. The top five teams after three days of competition May 16-18, will advance to the NCAA Championship Tournament at the Capital City Club’s Crabapple Course in Alpharetta, GA May 28-June 2.

Clemson freshman Cody Proveaux, the reigning South Carolina Amateur Champion, finished in a tie for third at the US Open Local Qualifier at Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg on Monday and will advance to Sectional qualifying early next month.

The #15 Clemson Tigers scored two runs in the sixth inning to take the lead and held on for a 3-2 win over Maryland in the first game of a doubleheader at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Monday afternoon. The Tigers, who evened the series 1-1, improved to 31-15 overall and 16-10 in the ACC. The Terrapins fell to 28-22 overall and 9-17 in ACC play.

The second game of the doubleheader between #14 Clemson and Maryland on Saturday was rained out. The two teams are scheduled to make game-two of the series up on Sunday at 1:00 PM. Maryland won game-one of the series on Saturday by a score of 7-2. Game-three of the series is scheduled for Monday at 7:00 PM on ESPNU.

Senior lefthander Jimmy Reed struck out 11 and allowed only two runs on four hits in 8.0 innings pitched to lead Maryland to a 7-2 win over #14 Clemson at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Clemson and Maryland will play game-two of the three-game series on Sunday at 1:00 PM.

Clemson back up quarterback Chad Kelly tore his anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during Clemson's Spring Game in April. He had surgery to repair his ACL on Thursday morning.

Due to the threat of inclement weather, the baseball series between Clemson and Maryland has a new schedule. The series was originally slated to be on Saturday (1:00 PM), Sunday (6:30 PM), and Monday (7:00 PM).

Three former Clemson Tigers were selected in the NFL Draft on Saturday. Andre Ellington was a sixth round selection, the 187th overall pick by the Arizona Cardinals.

Two former Clemson golfers will be in the final pairing on the final day of a PGA Tour event for the first time on Sunday when Lucas Glover and Kyle Stanley compete for the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. The Houston Texans selected Clemson wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins with the 27th overall pick in the first round of the NFL Draft late Thursday night. Hopkins cashes in on his decision to forego his senior season as a Tiger.

Due to the threat of inclement over the weekend, the Clemson vs. Georgia Tech baseball series will now have the following schedule: Game 1 Friday 2:30 PM, Game 2 Friday 7:00 PM (CSS), Game 3 Saturday 6:30 PM (forecast calls for rain on Saturday, so an updated decision on this game time will be made on Friday).

The #13 Clemson Tigers totaled a season-high 17 hits in their 12-1 win over Western Carolina at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Wednesday night. The Tigers, who earlier defeated the Catamounts 12-9 in Cullowhee, NC on April 9, improved to 28-13 on the season. Western Carolina fell to 27-17 in 2013. The loss snapped the Catamounts' eight-game winning streak that started after Clemson's win in Cullowhee.

South Carolina swept Kentucky to rise to No. 15 in the new Baseball America College Top 25 rankings, while Clemson fell to No. 25 after losing two of three to Miami.
