The new monument is located at Irmo Town Park, just off of Columbia Avenue and Carlisle Street and will honor the men and women who serve as firefighters, police officers, and EMS personnel.
Held by the SC Fire Service, the ceremony remembered the lives of Irmo Firefighter James Muller, Summerville Fire and Rescue Captain Kenneth Sott, and Aiken Public Safety Officer Kevin Simmons.
