Lexington PD: Gas line break causing detour on Augusta Road

COLUMBIA,SC (WOLO)– The Lexington Police Department says a gas line break has closed Augusta Road, with traffic being diverted from Sunset Boulevard and South Lake Drive.

Police ask the public to avoid the area emergency personnel work on the scene.

Officers say they are working to evacuate businesses and residences in the area.
