Clarendon County deputies investigating fatal Saturday shooting

CLARENDON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Clarendon County deputies are investigating a fatal shooting that took place Saturday, June 13.

Authorities say before midnight, they initially responded to a home in the Tara Lane area to a reported suicide.

Upon further investigation, deputies said 56-year-old Homero Gonzales’ gunshot wound to the upper body was not self-inflicted.
