Investigation into April shooting leads to arrest

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter County deputies say an investigation into an April shooting led to an arrest.

Deputies say the shooting happened on April 2, and resulted in the death of 19-year-old Robert Gamble, of Lynchburg.

Cameron Dorell Durant, 21, of Olanta, S.C. was arrested in relation to the shooting, and then taken to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center, where he is being held without bond.
