Fairfield County warns residents about weekend blasting operations to take place

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A heads up for residents in Fairfield County, it may be a noisy weekend.

County officials say folks in the Little River area near Highway 34 may hear several loud explosions over the next few days.

Officials say the explosions are from blasting operations to remove beaver dams in the area.
