WATCH: RCSD sheriff to hold press conference about Jerk Hut shooting

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County Sheriff’s Leon Lott will hold a press conference at 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, in reference to the Jerk Hut shooting.

Deputies with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department say they are investigating a shooting that left multiple people injured and one dead at The Jerk Hut restaurant in the 1000 block of Zimalcrest Drive on Sunday morning, June 14.

Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford identified the victim as Ty’shon Vogt, 25, of Irmo.
