Gov. McMaster, other Republican Governors issue joint statement to United Auto Workers Unionization campaign

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Henry McMaster is one of six southern Republican governors speaking out against the United Auto Workers Campaign.

The union is campaigning for employees for car manufactures across the south to join their ranks.

In a joint statement the governors write, “In America, we respect our workforce and we do not need to pay a third party to tell us who can pick up a box or flip a switch”.

United Auto Workers officials say unionization provides a seat at the table that not only benefits employees but also the companies they work for.
