Mailbox for letters to Santa

SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO)– Kids in Sumter have a direct line to the North Pole.

Officers with the Sumter Police Department say a red mailbox magically appeared in front of their office last night.

And any letter placed in it goes directly to the North Pole and Santa Claus.

All letters must be placed in the mailbox by December 15 and should include your name and a return address.

No postage is necessary.
