No. 17 Gamecock softball splits final day in Oklahoma

No. 17 South Carolina softball split its final two games in the OG&E Tournament on Sunday at the OU Softball Complex. The Gamecocks defeated Indiana in a 7-3 win before dropping a 5-1 game to No. 5 Oklahoma. 

Gamecocks win series, sweep Princeton Saturday

South Carolina (11-5) notched two wins on Saturday to earn a series sweep of Princeton (0-7) at Founders Park. The Gamecocks beat the Tigers 7-3 in game one and 6-4 in game two, combining for 20 hits and four home runs. Carolina picked up its first series sweep of the season with the wins.

No. 17 South Carolina softball split its games in its first day at the OG&E Tournament in Norman, Okla., at the OU Softball Complex on Saturday. Carolina overwhelmed Illinois State in a 9-0 win in five innings before dropping a hard-fought 4-2 game to No. 5 Oklahoma.

Gamecocks Face Arkansas In SEC Tournament Thursday

South Carolina tallied an 85-84 win over Ole Miss on Wednesday evening in the opening round of the SEC Tournament to advance to Thursday's second round where the Gamecocks will face the Arkansas Razorbacks (approx. 9:30 p.m. ET/SEC Network).
