DHEC hosting virtual vaccine town hall with SCETV Thursday
DHEC is partnering with SCETV to host a live virtual town hall titled “A Shot of Hope: COVID-19 Vaccine Community Town Hall” tonight at 7 p.m.
According to officials, a Fort Jackson soldier has been suspended from his duties after he was arrested in April on a sexual misconduct charge. This marks the third person from Fort Jackson now facing charges since April.

Thursday morning, the The Richland County Sheriff’s Department announced that Sheriff Leon Lott was named the 2021 South Carolina Sheriff of the Year by the SC Sheriff’s Association. This is Sheriff Lott’s second time winning the award, having also won in 2004.
