RCSD investigating after man is found dead with a gunshot wound on South Beltline Boulevard
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department says they are investigating a fatal shooting after a man was found dead on 500 block of South Beltline Boulevard. Authorities say the victim’s body was discovered on Saturday around 6:30 a.m. Officials say the man had a gunshot wound to the upper body and was pronounced dead on the scene.

The Sumter Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman accused of filling out multiple money orders and leaving the store without paying them. Police say the incident occurred on March 29 at a convenience store on Lewis Road.
SC partnering with the White House to establish Community Vaccination Center in Columbia
On Monday, the White House announced that they will be partnering with the State of South Carolina to create a new Community Vaccination Center in Columbia. Officials say the Type III CVC will be located at the Columbia Place Mall, and it will be able to administer 1,000 shots in arms per day.
