Deputies say they arrived to find two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Authorities confirmed that one of the victims is pregnant. One victim is in critical condition.
Both victims remain hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries.
According to the Sumter Police Department, a former Beaufort County man is in custody and charged in the case of Sophia Van Dam and her 2-year-old son Matteo, who were reported missing two years ago.
