No. 14 Georgia defeated the University of South Carolina baseball team 13-8, Sunday afternoon (April 10) to close out a three-game series at Founders Park.
Will Sanders earned the win on the mound. He struck out nine in 6.1 innings, allowing five hits and three earned runs.
Noah Hall pitched a gem, allowing just one run with 10 strikeouts in seven innings of work. The loss went to Cade Austin, who struck out two and gave up three hits and two runs in two innings.
Both join Paris after working previously for him at Chattanooga. Bronson was an assistant for the Mocs the past five seasons (2017-22) and Shannon for the last three (2019-22).

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– In case you haven’t heard, the city of Columbia is hosting a celebration parade for UofSC’s women’s basketball national championship. Thursday afternoon city officials announced road closures ahead of Wednesday’s festivities. Beginning at 4pm portions of Richland, Laurel, and Main Streets will be closed. At 5:30pm barricades will be placed on Gervais, Sumter, Senate, and Marion streets….

On Wednesday the defending national champions found out they were bringing back four out of the five starters from this year’s title team.
