(WOLO) Columbia, SC- The Justice Department is opening a criminal investigation into the Internal Revenue Service's targeting of Tea Party groups for extra scrutiny of their applications for tax exempt status.

Wofford College Announces its New President

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) _ Wofford College has chosen its new president. Trustees voted Tuesday to name Nayef Samhat the private college's new leader. Samhat has served as provost and a political science and international studies professor at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, for the past four years.
