USC Finishes Strong at Landfall Tradition

South Carolina womenโ€™s golf posted its best round of the fall on Sunday at the Landfall Tradition as the team shot 283 (-5) in the third round, finishing the event in ninth place (888, +24). Three Gamecocks were under-par in the final round, led by junior Katelyn Dambaugh (68, -4), who finished in a tie for second on the individual leaderboard.

USC Captures Camden Collegiate Invitational

For the second straight year, the South Carolina menโ€™s golf team captured the Camden Collegiate Invitational title. The Gamecocks fired a 5-over (285) in Sundayโ€™s final round and finished the tournament atop the leaderboard with an overall score of 2-under (838).

(17) USC Women's Soccer Earns Draw at LSU

Womenโ€™s soccer senior forward Raina Johnson tallied her sixth goal of the season for the No. 17 Gamecocks, who earned a 1-1 decision against LSU (10-4-4, 4-4-2 Southeastern Conference) on Sunday afternoon at LSU Soccer Stadium. South Carolina moved to 11-5-2 overall and 5-3-2 in SEC play with the draw.

The No. 6 Clemson Tigers (12-3-1, 6-3-0 ACC) were edged by No. 9 North Carolina (13-3-1, 6-3-0 ACC) by a final score of 1-0 on Sunday afternoon at Fetzer Field on the campus of the University of North Carolina.
