Episcopal Church says SC bishop abandoned church

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) _ The Diocese of South Carolina is ending its affiliation with the Episcopal Church after the national church said the South Carolina bishop has abandoned the national church.

Haley Forms Panel to Revamp Ethics Laws

Governor Nikki Haley signed a proclamation, comprised of civilians instead of elected officials, today naming the South Carolina Commission on Ethics Reform to work on plans to update South Carolina's ethics laws.
