COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — The Republican primary runoff election in a Greenville County state Senate race will go to a recount, as unofficial results Tuesday show that only 36 votes separate candidates Ross Turner and Joe Swann.

CHESTER, S.C. (AP) _ A man has been sentenced to 27 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in the shooting death of a man at a Chester nightclub nearly two years ago. The Herald of Rock Hill reported (http://bit.ly/KAZ6zK ) 24-year-old Keith Kenner entered the plea Monday in Chester. Keener originally was charged with murder.
