Head coach Brad Brownell and his staff added to the Clemson men’s basketball roster late in the day on Wednesday, the first day of the early signing period. Scott Spencer, a 6-foot-6 wing from Suffolk, Va., signed a national letter of intent to play for the Tigers beginning in 2016-17. Clemson defensive end Shaq Lawson has been named one of 12 semifinalists for the Lombardi Award. The Lombardi Award is presented each year to the top lineman or inside linebacker in college football.
