Lexington County deputies want to make sure you’re safe on the water this Memorial Day weekend. Thursday morning, deputies joined the Department of Natural Resources took time to discuss proper boating safety measures before you hit the water.
If you’re hitting the lake for the holiday, the Department of Natural Resources will have courtesy boat inspections at public boat landings this weekend. Tickets will not be written for violations, but boaters will be given an opportunity to correct the problem.
