European Union to allow vaccinated Americans to visit Europe

Top U.S. health officials are emphasizing more freedoms for those who are fully vaccinated, including travel. The New York Times is reporting the European Union will allow vaccinated U.S. tourists to visit Europe this summer. Officials say other vaccination incentives may soon follow.

424 new cases of COVID-19, 16 deaths in SC Sunday

COLUMBIA (WOLO): The Department of Health and Environmental Control announced the latest coronavirus numbers in South Carolina Saturday. 511 new cases of COVID-19 were reported, along with 10 additional deaths. US health panel urges restarting J&J COVID-19 vaccinations

A U.S. health panel says it’s time to resume use of Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine, despite a very rare risk of blood clots. Out of nearly 8 million people vaccinated before the U.S. suspended J&J’s shot, health officials uncovered 15 cases of a highly unusual kind of blood clot, three of them fatal.
