A new CNN analysis of COVID-19 figures shows the number of cases, deaths and hospitalizations are dropping fastest for some of the most vulnerable Americans.
Officials with Prisma Health say the COVID-19 vaccine supply is catching up with the demand. The medical group says it announces additional available appointment dates every Tuesday and Friday on its website.
The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine can now be stored at normal freezer temperature for two weeks, according to the European Medicines Agency. The EMA says that the change is supported by new stability data, and that the new storage option gives more flexibility with its distribution.
In a statement released Friday, Governor Henry McMaster announced that all South Carolinians 16-years-old and up will be eligible to receive their COVID-19 vaccine, beginning March 31. The governor says those 16 and older can begin making appointments on Wednesday.
