Judge Clifton Newman has reinstated the bond for Curtis Smith, the alleged accomplice in the roadside shooting of Alex Murdaugh.
Day 19 of the Alex Murdaugh double murder trial is now underway after a pivotal day in court yesterday.
Smith was arrested last week and today he was in court for a bond hearing.

SLED says Alex Murdaugh was arrested Thursday, in connection with an alleged assisted suicide plot where he’s accused of hiring another man to kill him, so his son could collect life insurance money.
According to ABC News 4 in Charleston, bond was set this morning for Curtis Smith, who authorities say shot Alex Murdaugh after Murdaugh paid Smith to kill him.
