Two killed, at least three wounded in Sumter shooting

Sumter, SC (WOLO)–  Sumter Police is investigating after two people were killed and at least three others wounded in a late night  shooting at a Broad Street convenience store. According to Police, officers responded to a shooting call at the Hop In, 1083 Broad  St., at about 1 a.m. Sunday. Details were not immediately available. This is a developing story…

Coroner: Victims identified in Columbia apartment shooting

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Richland County Coroner has identified the two victims found shot to death inside an apartment on Thursday. According to Coroner Gary Watts,  Eric Griffin, 24, of Woodcrest Drive, Columbia, SC, died at the scene. An autopsy indicated that the cause of death was due to gunshot wounds to the upper torso, says Watts. Deputies arrest Ex-Boyfriend in Connection with Fatal Shooting of Father and Daughter

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Richland County Deputies say they’ve made an arrest in connection with the fatal shootings, Saturday, of a Father and Daughter. Sheriff Leon Lott says Willie Wilson was arrested Sunday by the Richland County Fugitive Task Force on Screaming Eagle Road Extension.
