In a statement released Thursday, the Orangeburg County School District says they will continue with their 100% virtual learning model through the end of January.
The Richland School District Two Board of Trustees announced that they will hold an emergency meeting, on Wednesday, to discuss whether or not they should extend the district’s eLearning period for all students.
On Tuesday, Lexington School District Two announced that students will have a two week virtual learning period that runs from January 4-15.
Several school districts throughout the Midlands have opted to temporarily move to a virtual learning model for students following winter break.
