Bitty & Beau’s opens new coffee shop in the Vista to help employ those with disabilities

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)–There’s a new place for coffee lovers and it’s bringing more than just java to the Midlands.
Bitty & Beau’s coffee held a grand opening and ribbon cutting in the Vista.
The North Carolina based shop employs people with intellectual & developmental disabilities.
Bitty and Beau’s is named after the owners 2 children with down syndrome.
The coffee shop works to change the perceptions of those with disabilities.
ABC Columbia News spoke with the owner about the venture.
