SC driver ran over by car in Richland County driveway

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina  Highway Patrol says a driver was run over by a car in a driveway in Richland County.

According to troopers, the driver stopped in their driveway on Broad River Road but didn’t put the vehicle in park.

The victim tried to re-enter the vehicle while it was moving but was fatally struck.

The Richland County Coroner has not released the victim’s identity as of yet as the investigation continues.
