Lexington County coroner identifies victim of fatal Friday morning shooting

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Lexington County coroner has identified the victim of a fatal shooting Friday morning.

According to investigators, 54-year-old Charles Moore Jr., was shot in the upper body on Hammond Avenue by someone he either knew or had some previous connection with.

LexingtonCounty deputies say first responders were called after he knocked on doors asking for help while bleeding.

He was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
