Gov. McMaster, 1st lady Peggy McMaster cast votes for Republican nomination for governor race
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Governor Henry McMaster and First Lady Peggy McMaster were also among those at the polls Tuesday, June 23.
McMaster and the first lady went to cast their vote in the statewide Primary at the Lourie Senior Center.
The governor says he is looking forward to whoever wins today’s runoff pivoting toward the general election.
Whoever wins today’s gubernatorial runoff will face Democrat Jermaine Johnson in the November 3rd general election.
The winner will replace McMaster who is the longest serving governor in South Carolina history.
