Lexington boy’s soccer falls to Riverside in state championship
This was Lexington's first state championship appearance in school history. The Wildcats end the 2021 season with a 19-4 record and a lower state championship trophy.

Cam Gaskins joined the ABC Columbia Sports team in August of 2019 as an Anchor/Reporter.
He graduated from the University of Georgia in 2017 with a degree in Digital Broadcast Journalism and a certificate in Sports Media.
He previously worked for WGXA in Macon, GA where he covered everything from the Mercer Bears to the Macon Bacon. He also covered the Georgia Bulldogs in the 2018 SEC Championship Game.
Cam was born and raised in Georgia, and grew up cheering for the Braves and Falcons. Now he’s excited to call the Palmetto State home and cover all the great sports here in the Midlands.
In his free time, Cam loves watching a good movie, hiking, finding a new restaurant, and trying to break 100 on the golf course.

In 2020, he played in a career-high 16 games for the New England Patriots and set career records in catches (47) and yards (604).
He becomes the second Gamecock added to the 2022 class within the last four days, joining four-star QB Braden Davis who committed last week.
Marshall tallied nearly 1,600 receiving yards and had 23 receiving touchdowns at LSU.
Four-star dual-threat quarterback Braden Davis announced on his Instagram page tonight that he will play for Shane Beamer and South Carolina next season.
