Teachers in North Carolina hit the street in protest
South Carolina was not the only state where those who work in the education system hit the street in protest.
The Columbia Police Department is searching for a man trying to break-into cars in the Lake Katherine area on early Wednesday morning.
Instead of attending today’s rally – a spokesperson for the Department of Education says Superintendent Molly Spearman filled in as a substitute teacher at Midway Elementary School in Lexington One.
